Bright Eyes is a musical project formed in 1998 in Omaha, Nebraska, centered on Conor Oberst with Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott. The band's music blends folk, indie rock, and experimental elements. Their debut album 'A Collection of Songs Written and Recorded 1995-1997' was released in 1998 on Saddle Creek Records, which Oberst co-founded.
